One thing I want to add to your point on the infantilization of men: often times, women/girls will infantilize men/boys (in certain situations) who have autism or other mental health conditions. This is inherently ableist (even if they don't actually realize that the man or boy has autism/cognitive impairments) -- but I think it underscores the need for better education amongst the general public (men and women alike) when it comes to the various needs of neurodiverse people.
