Your point about the lack of BIPOC in actual diversity/bias education leadership positions is especially salient.

I'm somebody who embraces the opportunity to examine what my own biases and prejudices might be (not only when it comes to race/ethnicity, but also across other categories of intersectionality). However, I find the process completely hollow and ineffective when I'm being lectured by another privileged White person about our shared privilege.

I also literally laughed out loud at your reference to the healing crystals, and I find it ludicrous (although, unfortunately, not surprising) that corporate/university leaders would actually center those completely irrelevant techniques within training/education seminars on racial bias.

Must be the same people who tended to praise Marianne Williamson, during her presidential run...
