Well, what do you mean by "punished"?

I certainly don't agree with the people who, for example, were calling for Dave Chappelle to be deplatformed.

But it seems that some comedians are pearl-clutching as though ANYTHING anybody says that's remotely critical of their speech/expression is somehow a "punishment" per se.

They have the right to make edgy, raunchy, tasteless jokes. And members of the public have the right to call bullshit on it.
