I'd love to hear about this mythical time period when male persons were allowed to speak about our experiences with molestation, sexual harassment, and rape without widespread social shame.

And you're right that many women in the antiviolence and body sovereignty movements have been speaking out against predators (on behalf of survivors) for decades. But, as you also simultaneously (and rightfully) pointed out, the media has decided to cherrypick which women's voices are heard.
