This is my approach, as well.

However, I don't proactively and voluntarily offer up my pronouns when I first meet people...or even on my profiles. If someone wants to know my gender identity that badly, they'll ask...or, after reading enough of my diatribes, they'll be able to draw the conclusion that I identify as he/him/his.
