Yeah, there's a huge difference in expectation (of what you're in for) when you voluntarily attend a raunchy comedy club vs. a black-tie award ceremony.

But I think it's the selective outrage and hypocritical pearl-clutching that gets to me. I'm less concerned about the well-being of Will or Jada or Chris or any other celebrity...and more worried about what the perpetuation of such cultural norms means for all of us with zero (or very little) institutional power.
