Yes, we were 90s kids (I was born in early-1982 and my sister was born in mid-1984), so watching syndicated reruns of "Mama's Family" definitely would have been one of our many sitcom influences of that time period. We also had an entire "city" of various stuffed animals for whom we would devise sophisticated plotlines, as well. Someday, I should write about my sister's stuffed "monkey family" when she developed her obsession with primates.
