You are correct -- in these academic settings, "white culture" generally only refers to negative aspects. That needs to evolve. Also, I find it mind-boggling that CRT proponents fail to recognize how interconnected America is with the rest of the world -- yet, they perpetuate the Americanization of narratives at the expense of non-American cultures.
