And, also, I'm totally in agreement with you about Medium's algorithm. My qualm isn't so much the (lack of) timeliness of some recommendations...I have no problem with reading pieces that were written years ago. For me, it's moreso the propensity of the Medium algorithm to continuously recommend pieces by certain multiple authors out there who I find to be downright offensive.

It forces us to dig harder and deeper in order to locate the really great stuff.
